Olfactory & Sensory Healing

Research-Informed, Experience-Driven Healing Pathways

Our senses are gateways to safety, connection, and healing. My work explores how olfactory and other sensory experiences can regulate the nervous system, interrupt trauma responses, and help restore a sense of presence and calm.

Drawing from neuroscience, trauma research, and decades of clinical experience, I integrate scent and other sensory-based interventions to support trauma recovery, stress resilience, and emotional balance. These approaches are grounded in current evidence on neuroplasticity, the limbic system, and sensory regulation.

Featured Programs & Workshops

  • Making Scents of Healing (Signature Program): An experiential, research-informed program exploring how scent can become an anchor for emotional regulation, presence, and post-traumatic growth. Participants learn the science behind olfactory processing and engage in guided sensory exercises designed to restore safety, strengthen self-trust, and support the body’s natural capacity to heal.

  • The Science of Scent & Safety: A dynamic workshop on how olfactory input influences the brain’s threat response. Participants gain insight into the neuroscience of smell and learn simple, evidence-based practices to engage the parasympathetic nervous system.

  • Resourcing the Nervous System: A hands-on introduction to sensory grounding practices that support trauma recovery, self-regulation, and sustained well-being. Ideal for wellness professionals and organizations addressing burnout.
