Expert Witness Services

With over two decades of specialized experience in trauma psychology and interpersonal violence, I provide expert witness services that bring clarity and credibility to complex cases. When a case involves trauma, credibility, or psychological harm, my expertise helps attorneys, judges, and juries make sense of what can otherwise seem confusing or counterintuitive. Drawing on my experience as the founding director of the University of California, Irvine’s CARE office and as a licensed psychologist, I translate complex trauma science into clear, defensible insights that support sound legal reasoning and fair outcomes. Attorneys rely on my ability to explain how trauma affects memory, perception, and behavior in ways that are objective, research-based, and accessible.
