Expert Witness Services

With over two decades of specialized experience in trauma psychology and interpersonal violence, I provide expert witness services focused on clarifying trauma-related concepts for the court and jury.

My work centers on explaining how trauma can affect memory, perception, and behavior, particularly in cases involving interpersonal violence, psychological harm, or complex behavioral responses. I translate established research and clinical knowledge into clear, accessible language that supports accurate understanding of the evidence.

Drawing on my experience as a licensed psychologist and founding director of the University of California, Irvine CARE office, I provide objective, research-based education to assist in understanding responses that may otherwise appear confusing or counterintuitive.
